I have a broadband dongle.
Recently upgraded my operating system to Mac OS EL Capitan (OSX 10.11.6). Dongle connectivity stopped.
Downloaded a copy of MOBILE CONNECT - which has Connection Manager and looks as though it is intended for Huwaei type dongles.
Followng installtion, it asked me to reboot - which basically hung the Mac during start-up. Don't load this if you are running El Capitan.
The various .kext s that Mobile Connect installs are incomppatible with El Capitan - and prevent the OS from loading. Took a long time to debug..............and unravel.
Any chance of a new version - compatible with El Capitan and Sierra ?

@Anonymous
You are not talking to o2 here.
The community is customer to customer help.
If you want to report this to o2 you need to call customer service http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
but I will tag @Chris_K and @Martin-O2 who may also be able to pass it on for you.

Thanks MI5.
I was just wanting to warn others. Although my phone is with O2, the dongle isn't !
Now gotta hunt down another alternative - not sure why ZTE doesn't put something out there.
