Choosing same add-on again?

I'm currently paying for Disney+ via my current O2 mobile contract.

 

I can now upgrade, and one of the options is 6 months free of Disney+. Is there a way to use this with my current Disney+ account? I'd really rather not make a new one to use it, and I can't recall if the deal is done by code, or link etc. I'd like to work it out before I select it!

 

I've not had any luck yet contacting O2 via official channels, though am yet to try by phone.

Cancel the current Disney and then add the free one when you get the link.

Make sure your old one reaches the end of the current month. You can use the same login details but must register using the O2 link you get sent.

Can I just clarify, when you say I can use the same login details but must *register* via the link, do you mean register as in creating a new Disney+ account? Or simply register the extra? (Apologies, the guide was useful but not 100% clear on that point!)
