Hi there

I have a Slingbox which I use to watch TV remotely and more importantly, set up recordings remotely.

This is on port 9999 as that was not in use by any other device I have.

I can access my Slingbox remotely using my O2 WiFi hotspots UT whenever I try with my O2 mobile 4G it doesn't work.

Is the port being blocked on the O2 mobile data or do I simply not have enough 4G strength everywhere to connect.

Is it possible to find a list of ports that are blocked if that is indeed what is happening? I could switch perhaps to a port that isn't blocked.

Cheers

I've never seen a list like that and I'm I'm pretty sure O2 have said that they don't block any ports.
Maybe @Toby can check?

Thanks for replies. If no ports are blocked then maybe the mobile data reception or my Samsung S6 picking up mobile data reception is the issue.

The problem seems to occur everywhere. It's not like I can't access the Internet as such, just issues with my Slingbox.

The port I'm accessing is 9999. Works with O2 WiFi but not 4G.
