Having discovered that my new ASUS vivobook laptop (with Win 10 ) no longer plays DVDs I looked around for help. A site I thought was trustworthy gave 5K as a good App to use in conjunction with the external DVD drive Id bought.
Any suggestions as to uninstalling it, and if there is a free trustworthy one to use or is payment best?
Thanks

To uninstall the programme you need to stop it first.
Ctrl-alt-del and choose the “services” tab.
Find it in the list and click on it, then end at the bottom of the screen.
You should then be able to uninstall it through add and remove programmes.
I always use Power DVD or VLC player.

Brill M. I used the task manager to illicit a STOP and uninstalled the 5Kplayer.
Ive installed VLC and DVD and Audio Player (very large size). Ive changed the DVD from Tom and Jerry to Marigold Hotel. The drive is now showing onscreen with name of the video. BUT...... not playing. If i right click Video and Audio show but nothing is playing. In VLC a box states nothing is showing. ????
