text message limit

Hello

I was just wondering what is the maximum amount of text i can text someone

It fits on my phone...but will they receive it all?

 

Its quite long, about "16 messages, 2391/2448" it says on my windows phone

WOW - That's not a text that's a whole book, LOL :slight_smile:
To be safe you should keep it to below 480 characters as anything else could result in you getting charged....

A typical text is 160 characters. Your phone will probably group them although be careful as texts can be converted to mms and thus be charged for at 40p each.

It will probably go as mms but it depends whether your friends phone will accept it. It should do so I would try it. Have you thought of sending it as email?
