Solved: sim swapping

Hi, I have borken my phone and have been to the shop for a different size sim to put in my temporary phone, but i can still hear messages going through to my broken phone. surely these should be coming to the new sim. i tried going on to do a sim wap to ensure all the messages come through to my new sim but it says that you are already doing a sim swap for my number. can you help?

The sim swap has started but not completed yet - you need to allow at least 24 hours for it fully complete.
