Bought a nokia 630 and transferred sim card. Can access wi-fi but not internet independent of wi-fi. Have searched internet for solutions but confused by much of the advice. Located APN and MMS APN on phone and not clear what I actually input. I thought it would be straight forward thing just to transfer sim and it would work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020. Save the settings and re boot the phone.
Take into account a sim swap can take a few hours to settle. Turn it off and on to see if it's ok.

The settings should be automatic if you have, so there shouldn't be anything else for you to do other than turn on mobile data and away you go.....

Turned it off and then on again. And it worked. Too simple! Reminds me of the comedy IT Crowd. 'Have you turned it off and on again?' Thanks for taking the time to respond. Consider yourself acknowledged.
