Hi All,

Found out today that Tesco Mobile are pulling the plug on the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) on 15 June. As Tesco uses the O2 network will it be the same for O2 users?

Is it still supported now even?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I'm not sure if O2 will do the same but it's surely on the cards sooner rather than later.

BIS was supported by O2 back in September when I switched from the 9810 to a Priv, but someone has mentioned on the Crackberry forum that Tesco Mobile customer services told them that all UK networks will turn off BIS on the 15th. Just trying to clarify really.

I think only customer service can confirm what will happen rather than rely on one person from Tesco.

Hey @MI5 , just mentioning here as well what I said in the other related topic, that I'm checking at the moment internally if there's any information we can share. Hopefully will be able to share more than in 2017... grin I'll drop a note in here and the newer topic when I hear back.
