Hello,

I have smashed my screen. My phone battery died and when turned back on, i am unable to use due to the cracks. however, no mesages are showing up on the locked screen. is this normal?

Have you got insurance on your phone? If so use that. If not you could send it away for repair but probably best to avoid O2 repairers and send it to the manufacturer instead.

Yes a broken screen will affect the functionality on most phones

What phone have you got ? We could probaly provide you with the manufacturer number if we had that

If it's just the screen that's damaged, everything should work fine, but if the digitiser is also damaged, all sorts of problems could occur.
