Phone advice needed.

I broke my phone and the SIM CARD still works.

Is there a way you can just buy a phone, no SIM?

Basically the procedure moves your number and tariff from your original sim to another sized one.

Either the o2 shop will do it or you can at home via http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

Only do this when you have the new sized blank sim card.

You only need to do this if you buy a phone that takes a different sized sim card.

Sure can.

Ones on payg locked to 02 from the O2 shop or from CPW.

Or second hand ones from the high-street store CEX for example.

You would need to choose one that takes your sim card size or can have your number and tariff moved to another sized one via the swapmysim procedure.

It's important to stress that you buy a sim free phone or an O2 phone as you will have much trouble trying to get a phone from another network unlocked to use any O2 sim in it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Would recommend if you are buying a top end handset that you get sim free as software updates tend to be quicker and generally less troublesome.
