I've just got a netgear aircard mobile hotspot no matter what I do it will not detect a network. I've checked that the SIM is activated but still no network. Any ideas?

What is the signal like in the area you live in?

The netgear only seems to work in areas with a 3G, DC, or LTE/4G signal.

Sometimes in 2G areas it will display 3G and connect but a majority of the time I find it reads no network and I fall back to using my phones data.

Thank you for that, I've looked on the netgear site but there are a number of these devices and so little information in with the aircard or on it for that matter, that I don't know which model it is

Thank you for that, it might be a poor signal I suppose, we're pretty rural here. I'm going to Yorkshire next week and I'll take it with me and try it there

Thanks for helping @Anonymous

No one here knows anything about those devices so we'd be lost without your help slight_smile
