Hi there my name is Scott,

i recently bought my girlfriend an HTC windows phone but her signal keeps dropping out for as long as 5.5 hours in most cases.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Many thanks

Try the usual fault finding process.

Clean the simcard

Check local masts for problems : O2 Service Status

Try the sim in another phone if possible.

Anyone else on O2 having problems?

Pickup a new simcard from the O2 store.

If everything checks out, return the phone under the warranty.

Hi,

If jonsies suggestions dont remedy the issue and you need to have it repaired then ;

If your out of the 14 working day returns period for faulty phones with O2 then I would suggest you seek assistance from HTC.

http://www.htc.com/uk/support/

Or ask the O2 Shop to send it off to their repairs centre as a secondary choice.

Whichever route you take its an idea to take time /date stamped pictures of the handset or with it next to that days newspaper to prove the quality of the phone when it left your hands.
