It could be, try later and make sure you do not have "secure password authentication" (SPA) ticked also.

GENERAL tab
User Info
E-mail address = me@o2.co.uk

SERVERS tab
Incoming POP3 = mail.o2.co.uk
Outgoing SMTP = smtp.o2.co.uk
e-mail username = me@o2.co.uk
Password = ***************
TICK Remember password
NOT login using SPA
Outgoing Mail Server
TICK My server requires authentication
Settings... = User same as incoming

Everything else defaults.

What settings are you entering?

Common mistakes are in smtp settings. For O2 it should be "smtp.o2.co.uk" Port 25 and do not tick SSL.

That all looks correct and as you are not getting any error messages this could be a bit tricky 😞

Can you try port 995 for incoming and make sure it's set as a POP3 account.

I think i've found the problem, according to an o2 Guru who came back to me this morning, the blackberry z10 does not support o2 webmail, so RIM have set up a forwarding email service for a year, you go to the web address put in your o2 email address and it forwards it to another address? thats what i was told, so thank you so much for your help slight_smile
