I would have to agree with that @Anonymous I think I was trying to explain how I was a person of two images

'back in the day'

The nursing uniform did away with any type of undividuality....therefore it was probably par for the course that when I was off duty I would style myself completely differently.

(I have met many ex patients when off duty, who have said 'Blimey, I didn't recognise you out of uniform'.)..

Good job... I thought ...as I knocked back my 3rd pint of the night LOL

And good mornin' to your good self @Anonymous
Congratulations! I tested your powers of observation and you passed. Of course I knew your favourite colour wasn't purple.( That is my story and I am sticking to it.)
You are of course right. I am an eejit but my fav colour is not emerald. I think you may have been stereotyping me. I am not Irish - but you were not to know that.

Enjoy your day and be careful you do not get knocked down by a bicycle.
Hope Marty is recovering satisfactorily.

      Not a problem at all.

Now that is a very difficult one.  I suppose "casual going on shabby" with a touch of  "pulledthrough a hedge backwards" would get close.

Delighted to hear there is some improvement.  Cats do seem to have a great capacity for self-healing.
Have a pleasant weekend!
