@jonsie wrote:....and speaking of beloved pets @Cleoriff any news on your missing cat?
Yes @jonsie The little ginger toerag rocked up at 4pm. I think someone had fed him because he wasn't in the slightest bit hungry (I wish people would not do that) ![]()
However, he isn't right because he hasn't been out all day today...just lying around sleeping ...
Thanks for asking...![]()

@Cleoriff ..... what news of your cat which did a bunk for some hours & caused you distress ? ..... is it your handsome cat Bugsy ? ..... who you elsewhere on O2C posted a pic of ? ..... you said he was sleeping a lot which was out of character & not in the least bit hungry - you reckoned someone had been feeding him & I agree = wish people wouldn't do that
hope your dear cat is ok
my hunter cat Marty brought me 2 presents today ie a shrew & later on a sparrow
each alive ..... = ..... he doesn't kill little animals just likes to bring them back to me to show 'what a clever boy he is'
I only have one chance to rescue these little animals
I was too slow with the shrew as when Marty dropped the animal it ran off fast round the yard in between plant pots & stuff ..... Marty got him again & escaped over the yard gate ..... cat came back within 5 minutes max = no shrew = wonderful
shrew wins again :womanvery-happy:
the sparrow I was quick enough for = I wrapped it up in what was to hand = t-towel ..... then took it along canal towpath to where there are lots of sparrows in hawthorn hedge (I feed them with suet filled coconuts) ..... unwrapped the little bird & it was great to see it fly away to where it belonged in its own flock the other, well-overgrown, bank of the canal ..... feeling good .....

well ..... @Cleoriff ..... the colours in your cat Bugsy's coat are beautiful ..... & ..... he has got his energy back then if he is not sleeping a lot which was the case when he decided to return to you ?
ie if he won't stay still to pose for a photo
I do hope he is behaving 'normally' now ..... & that I have expressed myself as I have wished to do ..... photos of my cat Marty to laptop & then on to OTC/fb/email is a work-in-progress for me on another thread (which you were heavily involved in getting put into O2C products & other services section, you will probably remember ..... I have chosen which photo of my cat Marty I want to go on O2C & have recently managed to put said photo of 'Marty in my yard' on my laptop as wallpaper ..... = ..... something quite automatic to most people here on O2C I know, but a big step for me :womanvery-happy: dunno if I'd be able to repeat action again though ..... = ..... rofcgu ![]()
Did you see David Beckham at the Wimbledon Mens Final ? ..... = ..... probably not, as you were mostly watching Lewis Hamilton win British F1 at Silverstone, I guess

Hi @Anonymous .... The picture is of Gizmo ...he is the one who went missing.:smileyhappy:
If you remember Bugsy is a tabby, where Gizmo is ginger. Funnily enough since he went missing and has returned , he isn't straying far from home at all...
Can't wait to see a picture of your Marty (and as Jonsie and MI5 explained it really is easy to get a picture uploaded on to here)
I did see David Beckham at the tennis yesterday (I must have flicked over just at the right time):smileyvery-happy:

GM All ..... @Cleoriff ..... thanks for the info regarding Gizmo your ginger cat
very pleased to hear Gizmo has come back to 'behave himself properly' ..... I have always allowed my cats to go outside ..... but ..... it a worry when they becave out of character
re: the seemingly inordinate amount of time I am taking to get my Marty's phone onto O2C ..... = ..... I have using the minimizer on screen to both the subject ie photos from laptop to disc (now marked as solver by me, but also now I know about the subscribing thing I intend to subscribe to that O2C subject ..... atm ..... I greatly appreicate @MI5 & @jonsie 's instructions in print & screen .....but..... my problem is the geography in the what is now my work room in the house ..... I have used the minimizer facility on the laptop ..... flicking between the thread's instructions from MI5 & jonsie ..... at right-angles to my computer station there is a wooden desk ..... atm ..... piled up 'heapa-heapa' style with stuff ..... I have order some flact-pack free standing shelves to accommodate mainly computer bits & bobs type of stuff & laptop paperwork & said wooden desk also now houses my new 3-in1 printer (not in a position to be kicked) .....

Gizmo is gorgeous! Harry went missing while I was off sick and I was beside myself. He's always around and spent most of his time with me when I was off so I knew something was wrong even though people were telling me it wasn't long to be missing - I think we know our cats habits. He eventually strolled home that night and we think he'd got locked in next door - he hasn't gone far since!
Thanks for your comment about Gizmo @Anonymous He is gorgeous...and knows it!
You are absolutely right about how well we know our pets....if mine aren't there for their food, there is something wrong....So even a day can seem such a long time.
Funnily enough since Gizmo went missing he, like Harry, has not gone far since....suits me ![]()
