miss o2 if I leave

Hello!

Didn't know where to put this. Thanks o2 it took the text you sent today to tell me that you are raising the prices up for bills; this was truly the last nail in the coffin for me to look elsewhere. Sadly enough I am slightly sad to go. Been with you for over 10 years. But your signal of late (few years) has been atrocious. The choices of phones haven't been limited and little insulting, especially if you are on a budget. Not everyone wants an iPhone. Customer service they'd answer the phone which is a start, but things in the past they never dealt with and had to shrug off.

What I'm really going to miss is the priority moments. Which isn't so great, but when you have the deals I like it's really cool. Oh well onto another network, hopefully with better reception!

Glad everyone else is happy with this network though 🙂

Are you thinking of moving on ?

I'm in limbo Damien, I'm not a heavy user for calls but I have to stay on wi-fi at home to get any sort of performance.

My speed tests on the network are too slow to publish.

I know that feeling phone83.

I was once proud of using O2 and would have recommended it to anyone. A lot has changed since then. I was using its BB and contract simplicity for a long time. Then I switched to PAYG for my phone along the way but kept the BB. Then all their services started dropping like flies. BB, email, wallet, what's next? When those services were there, it gave me reason to put up with the poor 3g signal I get with them, esp. indoors. However, they're gone now.

I even held of switching to VM Fiber BB because of how reliable O2 DSL BB was and how good their UK based customer services were. It was well above par, in fact it was the best customer support for UK people by UK people. While everyone else had already filed their support centers to far flung countries (India, etc.) Sadly, it's quickly becoming all foreign call center oriented.

I eagerly await my 4g completion letter for my area to come through the post. I've already had several '4g install in progress' letters Cat Happy

When I do make the move, I will miss this community and have fond memories of what was once an epic company.

I'm in London so signal not really an issue but to be honest I get loyalty discounts on my account and I've looked around and no one can come close even with the increase I would still end up paying more each month

What general area are you in, curious as an ex-Londoner from Islington?
