Hey guys.
In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too!
To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.
(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)

Great pic.
I watched a programme about the magnificent Red Arrows yesterday. Not just the display work but all the training these pilots need before they are granted the honour of becoming one of the team.
I hadn't realised till last night how many countries worldwide they visit.
Makes you proud to be British.

I saw them like 2-4 times too in Belgium at the Sanicole Air Show

The leader (Red One) showed a clip of them performing in the UAE.
Quite funny to see one of the kings or (or princes) taking notes. I thought we would probably see a similar set up in that country soon.

Took the car in today for some slight "rough running" when changing to 1st / 2nd. It was one of those where I thought they would say they could not find anything wrong. The Engine Control Unit though had been logging faults to do with a blocked inlet manifold, or something like that. Anyway, it will be quite a big job to fix, +2 days but thankfully covered under warranty - phew!
Clever things those ECUs!

They are also talking about replacement parts, I should have listened better
I wouldn't like to have to do the job on a modern engine, there seems so much "stuff" to remove just to get access. Anyway, not my problem
