Hey guys.
In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too! 
To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.
(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)
Paracetamol + hard bed + thick curtains + pusscat, who somehow is there for me to stroke + THAT NOISY RACKET from the fun fair ending ... = ... ahhh peace
lovely evening earlier (whilst I was indisposed) = clear sky, now moon shining brightly between the night clouds

My lad calling me today ... it's been 3 weeks without hearing from him ... = ... good conversation & am to go over to his & his Missus' home to have a look at their honeymoon pics & vids a week on Sunday xx

You got me outta bed & wearing my nightie at nigh on 4pm ... was not being slothful ... = ... just a rough night ... Wore a sleeveless, plunging neckline, long, coral pink / black / white flowered dress of natural viscose fibre with that touch of elastane so's it does not crease nor needs ironing ... didn't get to wear the dress last year
Hung out with the lads at Herriots bar ... serious convivial conversation + down right dirty conversation = well beyond the U bend 
... robbed the window cleaner of his money for diet cokes / pots of tea & soda water with ice & a slice (free) ... lovely weather ... 25c for tomorrow Sunday, Fathers' Day ...

I'm learning new words here again! Just googled "wren". 
I know it's super hot and not necessarily the most comfortable weather but what made me happy today (anyway!) is that apparently it's going to be sunny and +33 degrees here this afternoon!

What made me happy today? It's the first day this week that my clothes weren't sticking to me. The temp is down, there's a nice breeze and it's not as close.
