Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Rained pretty hard in the afternoon, but stopped for the school run.

Got very cold in the evening - had to put a jumper on to walk the dog!

This morning is grey and overcast again, and the wind is cold.

Winter is here!

Absolutely lashing down last night and the same this morning.

We are getting the remnants of two hurricanes apparently.

Remnants of Hurricane Nigel will sweep across the UK from the Atlantic later this week to bring more heavy rain in the wake of Hurricane Lee, forecasters have warned.

The tail end of Hurricane Lee has prompted fresh flood warnings in parts of northern England and Wales on Tuesday and Wednesday before it subsides and is replaced by “unsettled weather” from Hurricane Nigel at the weekend.

Very windy but surprisingly balmy at 16degC yesterday evening, and 13degC this morning, wind still in evidence this morning, so much so the bridge had an enforced speed limit in place...

Well the wind was terrible, but has calmed down slightly.

Unfortunately the roof which I put on The Hangout has seen some damage; one of the panels at the end has split slightly. Installer error I would say, as I should have cut it shorter. 

Luckily I can just swap the two end panels, but that is a job for another day when there is a little less wind!

Sun out first thing, now disappeared. Windy and cold and 9C

Looking out of the window ..... clear pale blue sky ..... sunshine ..... birds twittering ..... feels pleasantly fresh from small opening in window on tilt as I cannot turn window handle to otherwise ..... still, nice .....

Let's hope it doesn't deteriorate into the absolutely fowl rain and stormy wind of the last 2 days xx

Horrid weather all day yesterday. Wind, rain, proper biblical stuff.

Thought at one point we were going to start floating away...

This morning is blue sky and sun, but very wet!
