Morning folks,

Hoping you've all woke up this morning to blue skys & sunshine wherever you are sun

It's possible that Manchester will see highs of 29 degrees today and it's also mine & my partners anniversary since we got togther (not marriage) 😅

So today i will be finishing at 12.30, to spend the afternoon out, hopefully find a nice park walk and maybe grab an ice cream, i've done Heaton Park too many times, so need to find somewhere new 😂

In more exciting news i've purchased some new garden fence panels, so i shall also be painting these later in the afternoon 🖌

Hope you're all able to enjoy the nice weather before the rain returns!

I'll be back tomorrow at 9am as usual, to pick up any notifications/PMs from this afternoon 👍

Enjoy the day @Dave-O2

Gorgeous weather here, not too far from your good self

Might I recommend a nice walk through Phillips Park or the White Rocks (my old stomping grounds)

Although a nice little boat trip around the Heaton Park lake is not to be dismissed

Thanks all 😊

@TallTrees i've gone for Hazelnut Oak, i have decking that is slate grey & my fence posts are white, so i didn't want to go for a colour that was too bright or dark for the fences.

@MI5 think i'll be drinking straight from the hose 😂

@jonsie Good shouts, sounds like i'm close to your old stomping ground, Whitefield. I used to enjoy a drink in the goats gate pub & lived  on Stanley Road down the side of morrisons/the old bus station near the metrolink 👍

Yes I lived in Radcliffe until I got married then moved to Bolton

I went to school in Whitefield, Stand Grammar School before they knocked it down

I went for many a cross country run through Phillips Park (I walked the biggest part!)

Even after Marriage I played golf every weekend at Heaton Park or Stand golf club

I played cricket against all the local clubs too when I played for Radcliffe

Then we had kids.....!!

Enjoy @Dave-O2

It was our 58th anniversary on the 17/6.

As my husband is fond of saying, he'd get less than that for murder 😂

Looks like we are all June - had our 16th wedding and 23rd together this year!

I am under instruction to get our fences repainted (do it every other year) but am not planning on doing it in this heat!

Absolutely right @gmarkj. Not weather for painting fences. Dries too quick and bubbles up (as I found to my cost when I last painted the fences in a heatwave!) 😂

Now have a paint sprayer but still wouldn't paint in this heat.
