Wasps!

Have recently noticed a number of wasps seeming to disappear into the side of the house - presumably through a gap in the mortar.
If I had to guess, I would say that there is a nest between the outside brick and either the inner block or internal plasterboard.
Has anyone got any ideas (outside of getting in the professionals) of how to convince them to move out?

I always dread this happening to my home. I hate the things with a passion. Roll on winter when the pesky little things die off or hibernate or whatever they do. If the nest is visible then there are some tips in the link but calling in the pest control may be our only viable option.

They rarely come back to the same place a second year.

If they make a re-appearance next year then maybe a call to the professionals may be in order...

Good luck @gmarkj! Wasps can be nasty but I think the advice to leave them to it is right. Summers nearly over and they should disappear by themselves.
