Yuck. I had a similar scam worked on me about a year ago. The only spirit I ever drink is vodka. I was at a  party and they had run out..... so poured me gin instead. I was 'three sheets to the wind' by then and I happily glugged it back....my god was I ill.... Foul drink.... makes me shudder ...
