A Concert (to me) is going to see/hear the person/persons you like live at a concert hall or on stage Glastonbury style if you like.

Recently I have been noticing a weird trend ~

"Amy Winehouse to go on tour six years after
her death as father unveils hologram of late singer"

Audrey Hepburn (dead) eating chocolate in a TV ad

Judy Garland (dead)  talking to The Halifax Bank

Confused

.

Hi 🙋 @Anonymous
Very interesting advertising, what I don't get is in a modern VW ad who would know Gene Kelly ? Don't suppose he ever thought about a VW😐
Bob Monkhouse perhaps, still find it odd.

@TallTrees

Indeed

The Bob Monkhouse one was from 2009, can't remember when the VW ad was and no I don't get the connection but I think the 'body popping' style of dancing was popular at the time so VW thought they'd get in on the craze.

I think the Amy Winehouse hologram tour is a bit odd too but then I wasn't a fan when she was alive.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for your input very interesting.

Money absolutely

I am thinking it is a return to the 19C "freak show"

always very popular!  rolling_eyes

So after having a few discussions/thoughts ~ I have a better understanding ~ Thanks

Celine did a lovely ‘All The Way’ with Frank Sinatra, but he wasn’t holographic!

Hello and thanks @welshsteve76

I hadn't realised that ~

@Cleoriffmentioned that Priscilla P. sang with Elvis don't suppose she ever sang with him when he was alive?  P.P. probably needed more money astonished

Wow Michael Jackson ~ they are a greedy family though devil

I need to get "more up to date"

However I do feel a bit squeamish about it Crazy LOL
