Just watching news on BBC1 and they were speaking to a lady who had attended the concert with her daughter. She said they heard a very loud bang in the hall itself. But that her husband heard a very loud bang outside the arena. So quite possibly two explosions. With the police and the ambulance service dealing with the aftermath at the moment there is talk of a possible terrorist attack which has yet to be confirmed. They have just confirmed a number of people have been killed and injured.

I should think it'll be a few hours before we get a clearer picture of exactly what took place.

A dreadful start to the week.

If, as suspected, it is a terrorist attack what cowards to target young people in this way. Anyone to be fair but as it was an Ariana Grande concert, the majority of attendees would be youngsters. Many of whom were there on their own or with friends.

I feel for all the families who have loved ones injured or killed and those still trying to reunite with their children.

Right confirmation of 19 dead with about 50 injured and it's confirmed they are treating it as a terrorist attack until further notice.

My God I feel sick.

Sadly it was only a matter of time before the terrorists succeeded again in the UK. Some casualties were brought to this hospital going off the number of ambulances arriving late last night.
Despicable animals that target young innocent children!

Police are stating 'suspected suicide bomber'. Hospitals in Manchester went on lockdown last night to take 'major incident casualties'

Death toll now at 22...
