Hey guys!

I was taking a look in the O2 business blog and they have an article about '5 top apps to improve your work-life balance'. They list...

  • Trello (for to-do lists for task tracking)
  • Microsoft Office 365 (for productivity on your mobile)
  • Toggl (for keeping track of the time)
  • Pacifica (for tracking and stopping stress)
  • Simply Yoga (for relaxing and calming the mind)

Have you tried these? Do you know any other apps for making working life easier (or for work-life balance in general)?

For me, the to-do list apps on my phone are super useful if I have loads of different tasks to track, however I think personally nothing beats a traditional post-it note that I can just stick on my desk. grin

grin Good point! So the question would be apps to improve life balance, without the work part. grin

Funnily enough, 3M Company have an app called Post-It Plus. iOS > Productivity

It depends, what do ppl mean by making work easier, or work-life balance?

Most apps are designed to assist the user in one area or the other.

My rec? The off switch at the top of the device. Cat Happy

Thanks @Anonymous, I checked out the Post-it one but sadly didn't have any notes lying around on my desk currently. LOL I'll try when I have some!

Regarding the off switch you mentioned, brilliant. What I did recently on my phone was 1) disable email notifications (I read them on my work computer anyway) and 2) disable all the notifications from games.

2 things I realised: much easier to concentrate at work and also my iPhone uses less battery during the day! slight_smile
