Unless you have been in a news free zone for 24 hrs it wont have gone unnoticed that Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended...

Allegedly he punched a producer....

Sundays episode has been shelved along with the remaining two in the Top Gear series..

Clarksons suspension has led to a massive petition for his reinstatement.

Personally, I wonder why so many want him back? Surely this massively popular show can survive without him? (Stands back ready to be panned for that comment Fear)

Maybe this 'hero worship' of Clarkson is a 'man thing'? (apologies if that appears sexist Rolleys)

I don't particularly like him. I think he arrogantly believes he is invincible....Drum

What next on top gear now then? How to accesorise and decorate the layout of your car in this years colours? This madness has got to stop, King Leonidas style.

Jeremy Clarkson has broken his silence over the prospect of getting the sack from the BBC saying: “Well, it’s coming, isn’t it?”

(This was whilst he was at Chelsea watching them lose last night)

I don't suppose he gives a damn...No doubt Sky and ITV are drawing up contracts right now.

He won't be out of work for long. (if he does get booted from BBC)

I am sure we would soon have an alternative to Top Gear with him fronting the show...

According to the Daily Mirror today James May and Richard Hammond refused to film without Clarkson.

They were offered the chance to film the remaining episodes so that the BBC could screen the last shows. They said no. It seems it is all of them....or none of them...?

I can understand you saying that....but surely there are many others who would have watched the show without him? If only to complain that it was useless and make a point to the BBC...

'Brothers in arms' is very commendable.....unless you have a mortgage to pay and kids to feed...Whistle
