Hey everyone,
As we have some very talented photographers on the forums I thought I'd share some info about World Photography Day. World Photography Day is a day intended to inspire amateur and professional photographers alike to share images that depict the world from their view point.
"The date behind World Photo Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic processes developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre in 1837. On January 9, 1839, The French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerreotype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government purchased the patent and announced the invention as a gift "Free to the World"."
You can get some more information about World Photography Day here. It would be great if you could share some of your own snaps, whether a stunning vista or a funny holiday photobomb we would love to see your best shots!

My lads TV is stacked/propped up like that. He got most everything from the other place but has not managed to find the stand. He had this on the wall previously... but when he removed.... it he unfortunately didn't have a screwdriver to hand ...:smileywink:

Your video @viridis must be like seeing it at the cinema on a tv screen this size & more the amazing for it
@jonsie ... is your curved screen concave? ... I just imagined a curved screen, up-to-date tv would be convex as my little old tv is ... & ... me being nosey here - to accommodate that size how big is your room which houses it?

Lovely TV @jonsie! Can I ask, is the tech cheaper over there than here? I really have no idea.
I hope you get a stand soon!
