Given the background of the leading Brexiteers you hear from all the time, that is, as traders having worked for investment firms, I'm beginning to wonder if they have a vested interest in seeing the country go off the edge of a cliff.
It wouldn't suprise me to learn that they have been shorting stocks they know will be adversely affected by a 'no deal' Brexit, they'd certainly have the knowledge to do it and of course the money as none of them are poor.
There is nothing illegal in doing that but I'd say it's morally questionable considering how many people will be affected.
