Brings back memories of my mum dressing me and my sister's hair before school ..... elastic band and a ribbon.

when in grammar school my hair was in a very long pony tail with a bottle green ribbon which was school uniform colour accented with golden yellow ... ... ... mum wanted my hair cut & after a good hairdresser refused to perm a child's hair I had it cut to flicks style, still with hairslide or later a ponytail clipped under still with either brown or black ribbon.

Post covid my hair at the back was down to my waist ..... mum was with us then & she loved to plait it = she had such a strong grip.

I collected lots of hair ornaments to dress my hair in an up style ... but ... gave they me a headache lolz
