I don't see much of it over here but I see the odd highlights on YouTube and I do have the app. OK I've always been a fan of people making themselves look ridiculous....

I'm well aware however that many good acts are cast aside for the obligatory ripley picked acts that have you throwing things at the TV... totally so it keeps the show in the ratings and Louis Walsh is there as the stooge!

So who has your vote this year or are you like me. just watch to shake your head at the total commercialism and the money spinning Christmas release and the 10 minute fame of the winner?

Does anyone here actually pay for the winning artist and what happens if a dog wins... does it get its own Pedigree Chum advert?

With your last sentence about a dog winning @jonsie I think you are getting mixed up with X Factor and Britains Got Talent? LOL (Or knowing you...that was probably intentional?)

Anyway X Factor I have no idea on the winner. The best ones were either sent home or weren't given a visa.

The ones who win never do well anyway (except the brilliant Leona Lewis). It's those in 2nd place like One Direction or JLS who actually had some impact on the world of 'music'...

Little Mix actually won and are still going strong now, which is unusual....

Ok so there's apparently a Finnish girl there (as you may know I'm originally from Finland myself) and I'm planning to make an exception and follow this show this time. grin

Did you see her yet and what did you think?

Yes its Saara Aalto who is excellent @Marjo. However she has represented her country twice in the Eurovision song contest and was runner up in the Finnish version of The Voice .....so is trying again ...

Ok @Marjo as requested. At the moment I am looking forward to seeing what the Finnish girl can do. I think she has an amazing voice. No one else stands out to me from the other categories as yet. But I could change my mind when the live shows start next week.

I have already commented on HoneyG and Louis' choice of the 2 laughable boys whose name I really can't remember except thst they can't sing although they are rather pretty! And I don't mean the Brooks 😁

I confess I've been quite bad with following Finnish TV, so haven't seen these previous shows. I hope she has a better platform here than in tiny Finland though! Anyways, I'll need to check out all the other contestants too! It's not just the nationality I'm voting (in my head, not actually voting) for in the end. grin I'm one of those who will catch up on YouTube too mostly, @jonsie.
