What a bloody dull and dreary day here in Warwickshire. Still got the lights on in the lounge.

Typical November weather. Dank, dark and damp....I hate it...

I love the smell after bonfire night and yes, as usual, damp and a typical type of day after the fires have gone out.

We had a massive bonfire at the Jubilee Centre near us, with the usual fantastic loud firework display afterwards. We could watch it all from the bedroom window without going out getting cold and wet....

(I have done my share of taking kids and grandkids to bonfires/firework displays...so I stayed in and kept warm!!)

Just to be different, I'm actually attending a Bon Fire Night party on bon fire night, tomorrow. Am looking forward to it. And it's round the corner from me so not far to go, which is even better.

It won't be too late a night as unlike me and a few others attending, most have to work in the morning, particularly the hosts. 

Fireworks were going off all last night and will be again Monday night. It's how long after the 5th they still go on for that's a pain, though it has become better in recent years.

Then it's on to Christmas and the New Year. My but this year has flown by

Re Christmas...I see the Christmas adverts have started

Aldi are doing one which a take on the Coca Cola lorry...only it's carrying carrots. Kevin the carrot is the driver....lorry goes halfway over a snowy cliff and the carrots slide to the back, doors open and a littel cry of help is heard.

I expect it will become a series

Well actually the tagline is #savekevin.

However, my other half said exactly the same. So it appears to be a mish mash of the Coca Cola lorry and the Italian Job
