Confined to bed so I didn't get to the pub for a meal or a beer. I had to make do with a corned beef sandwich and a jelly.

But the ward nurses came into my room with a lovely cake 🎂 and they all sang happy birthday

Positively charming and tear inducing 😤

Probably for the best after all the trials and tribulations of the past 36 hrs @jonsie. Not what you wanted...but tomorrow is another day mate. (PS singing nurses? Good job it wasn't me....you would have been reduced to tears of laughter) joyhearthear_no_evil

Only other option (if disobeying medical advice) is taking own discharge. Not sure how far Steve would get if he decided on that course of action?....Dance

Oi!!! That was supposed to be top secret sob

No way will I be discharging myself @Cleoriff I've fallen 3 times in 2 days luckily managing to protect my leg. They're arranging counselling by the liason outsourced team in case I decide on the ultimate. It wasn't an option before according to the consultant but it is now.
