That's it - Christmas tree is down and outside for collection (prefer a real tree to a plastic/artificial one, when we can get one - the Christmas Tree farm behind us closed during Covid and that was that!). The local hospice shreds them and uses the chippings on the hospice grounds.
No more mince pies here 😮 I had my first near end-October, preferring the in-store baked shortcrust packs of four from Sainsbury's - the darker, the better.
Pancakes with lemon and syrup, then hot cross buns next, I think.
I spy a box of Tunnock's Tea Cakes yet to be opened though And a box of Fox's Fabulous Chocolatey biscuits....

We had 2 hampers sent to us from friends this Christmas.
Not wishing to sound ungrateful but wonder what's the point of hampers?
Half the stuff, no-one in this family eats. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, weird dry biscuits.
Oh and not a mince pie in sight @pgn @TallTrees 😂
