I played a few times but I can't really think of anything of one aspect that I enjoyed 😕

Great gif @jonsie but you obviously don't understand the rules of the uniform of this club. All whites at weekends. Grey trousers for games in the week...(unless you are playing an away game...then you go by the uniform code of that club)
It's been worse this year. Ray has been made captain of the Thursday games. Phone calls day and night from those wanting to play and those who can't.
So cliquey. Worse than the freemasons at times

Not sure it's changed that much @jonsie. My dad used to bowl for a club in Coventry and the rules were very strict then as well. Woe betide you if you turned up to play without your club blazer...and tie....
Ray played a county game two weeks ago, it was very warm but they all had to wait for the Club President to announce 'Gentlemen...you may now remove your blazers'!!!!

Saturday afternoons with jeans and a jumper on my rare dabbles at the game. I don't remember our local park having a team 😃

Last time I played any sort of sport was badminton long before my son was born, he's 32 now (I did swim / tennis / cricket / football with Alex when he was a boy)
Well ... old tv broken ... & ... gifted flat screen tv not set up (it's beyond me, lol) ... = ... no Strictly Come Dancing, so I'll watch it on the laptop via iplayer tomorrow
I'm having an early night xx

Good night @Anonymous. Pleasant dreams 😴
Thank you @Glory1 ... same to you
You've said your sleep pattern is that you may be awake now
I'm up as I've just let my cat Marty in ... no, I'm not an awful cat mum ... he likes to do his ablutions outside ... = ... so my sleep pattern can be disrupted ... he can wake me at say 3am persistently pawing at my face & I have to get up & let him out
Anyhow Glory1 hope you had an enjoyable weekend & the weather in London was to your liking
