Well he must have been winding his neighbour up @Anonymous
The budget did NOT increase the price of cigarettes or alcohol (for a change).
We were told yesterday that we only finished paying the debt caused by WW2 in 2005. God knows how long it will take to pay this 'coronavirus' debt back.

Well Boris and his cronies certainly showed their appreciation for the NHS staff didn't they?
A measly 1% pay rise.
Perhaps he was expecting they should feel grateful for the public clapping every Thursday.
Beggars belief!

The so-called 1% pay rise for NHS staff will actually be a pay-cut overall according to interviews/comments on GMB this morning.
Boris clearly forgets they saved his life when he was hospitalized with Covid-19.
