I disagree, they have both stated quite clearly their mental health had suffered from being in a band.

In fact I’ll stick my neck out and say I think he probably suffered more as he suffered in silence, whereas Jesy had quite the public outpouring of support after the documentary.
I think people will have seen her departure but did anyone see his?

Yes I saw his coming as it was well publicised that One Direction weren't getting on well for months before they split.

I also repeat, Zayn Malik was never bullied. In fact he was idolised.

There are pressures being in a band, particularly when both bands were manufactured.

However, Jesy was bullied mercilessly.

She may well say NOW it is due to pressure of being in a band.

I'll say, if she wasn't bullied and trolled she would not have felt that degree of pressure. Also her mental health wouldn't have been so badly affected.

You have already pointed out that Zayn Malik wasted no time going solo, which just proves his mental health wasn't under much pressure.

They both suffered, in a band, which caused them to leave. Both attributed to mental health issues.. whether it be bullying by millions or feeling excluded by 4, does it actually make a difference?
Does it make a difference whether it’s not much pressure or lots?
Absolutely not because everyone handles things differently.

I don’t think I have more or less sympathy for either one of them in that situation...
but it vanished into thin air when I found out he’d been recording elsewhere... which is where my 1st comment came from.

We'll just have to agree to disagree @Anonymous . I have never seen or read of any bullying issues related to Zayn Malik. The band weren't getting on. They split up and that was the end of that.

Jesy WAS bullied and trolled viciously. In my opinion there is a world of difference between a band not getting on and splitting up to someone being bullied on a daily basis incessantly by keyboard warriors and on all social media platforms.

So up earlier than usual and

1) it's very dark and

2) it's very cold.

Still Asda will be around between 7-9am so that should break up the monotony...rofl

Good Morning @Cleoriff  smiling

Have a cuppa?

See the source image

I know you are usually up early and posting ... but ... it's been one of those nights when I just have not slept at all, despite regular prescribed tablets and body stretches etc

Trying to get SPECTRE to play on laptop ... well, I can hear the dvd going round, but no picture.

Still very dark here too Cleo ... still air seemingly although I am inside ... no rain (as yet) ... 6c feels like 2c.
