Taurid Meteor Shower (& 2 others)

Anonymous
Not applicable

November is a great month for any sky watchers. Bonfire night is the peak of the Taurid Meteor Shower and later in the month are 2 more to enjoy (possibly)

Living in town I won't be in a prime position to see them but I'll still be looking out!

Will you?

Again too much rain and cloud cover. Will it ever stop raining I wonder? Evil

Having said that and way off topic, I do feel for the people of Derby and Doncaster who are caught up in the middle of those terrible floods.

About 115 flood notices released today! slight_frown

I’d love to join an astronomy club and find out what else is up there. We’re just too close to town tho.
And you’re right @Cleoriff awful scenes round these parts.

We are in the Maun, Idle & Trent basin but no signs of any real flooding yet (thank god)

Trouble is that the "ones who know?"
what's up there are vague and what's interesting up there are something like 2 million light years away 🥴💫😴
It's much guess work.
