I've had my eye out, but no joy so far.. oh how I miss the night sky in Wales!

Did anyone see them in the end?? I had no idea this was going on so I didn't have my eye out but it's unlikely we'd have seen much from central London

Light pollution is a nightmare for that sort of thing. You need to travel to the outer regions.
