A little early to start this thread, although the new judge to replace Darcey Bussell has been announced
It's Motsi Mabuse (sister of Oti Mabusi)
Motsi Mabuse, elder sister of Strictly Come Dancing star Oti, has been named as Dame Darcey Bussell's replacement on the BBC One show's judging panel.
Originally from South Africa, Motsi is a former South African champion and German Latin champion and a judge on Strictly Come Dancing's German version.
Mabuse, 38, said she was "absolutely overjoyed" to be joining the panel and hoped to "add her own bit of sparkle".

I don't doubt her credentials at all but can't help wondering how this will work as Oti is still appearing on the show?

As for Adam Lambert....boo to you. At least he is known and can sing. As a Queen fan I think he does a pretty good job.

I'll reserve judgement on Adam Lambert as last time I saw him, he wasn't very good then again he was on X-Factor as a part of a guest duet with that Saara from Finland who then did My Career is on Ice. The bar is getting pretty low this series so he can't do any worse than tonights wass-her-name-again.

I suppose with Adam Lambert, it depends on what they want him to sing 'to suit the show'.
I watched him on X-Factor US version. He came 2nd but really should have won. He didn't, because he was gay and outrageous.
Still, the guy who won is nowhere and Adam is now fronting one of the biggest bands in the world.
He is also free to do his own stuff and his last album was pretty good.
The type of singer who can perform any genre of music so I like him.
I was also determined NOT to accept him as there is only one Freddie Mercury....I did accept him as he never attempts to emulate Freddie. He is just Adam Lambert.

I will be recording SCD this weekend. Unfortunately it clashes with the Mexican F1 (Qualifying) and that will always take priority for me.
So any posts will be later that night.
Same goes for the results show on Sunday. The F1 race starts at 19.10pm and I will be watching the race lead up and then the race...
