It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it.... Dance

However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Debbie was overmarked as she wobbled at the beginning

Gemma undermarked

Joe was good but a little wobble at the end.

Just as expected Alex at the top and Gemma at the bottom...

Now for the showdances. I wonder if Tess and Claudia will visit all contestants...

Well Debbie I thought it was a showdance not a ballet routine?

She spent more time off the floor in lift than she did in actual dance...

I have to say this. All showdances this year have been slightly disappointing. In previous years they have been nothing but stunning. With innovative moves rarely seen etc etc....A bit of a mish mash so far

So round 2 sees Tessbot and Cloudier justify their pay packets and visit everyone for a morale boosting pointless exercise in hugging.

Alexandra's show dance was just a retrospective executed very well but very musical theatre than "showy". Though for me the change to black and white by the producer was not necessary. Obviously used to work on Top of the Pops.

Debbie's wasn't that impressive and again more of the same as the movie week performance. Not exactly done as well. Not her night either as spotted a couple of mistakes.

Ah now Gemma. Any other week that would be her best dance so far but not enough imagination for the final show for me. Still better than Debbie.

So Joe. Think every one had expected more but sadly like the others another retrospective with one show dance lift spin. Woohoo. Good routine for movie week though.

I'd say Alexandra got this round with Gemma and Joe next but overall not particularly imaginative this year.

I just think the judges are showing far too much favouritism. As I said earlier in the week thank god they wont influence my vote. Sadly they probably will influence other members of the public

Going to say it again. Apart from Gemma, there were no showdances to be seen at all

Round 3. The Pro praising part for the final time. Thankfully no sign of the un-dynamic duo.

Wonder why Debbie didn't pick the Tango which would have been more dramatic. She pulled the AT off but it's too recent to be of impact to win? Not enough to win tonight regardless.

Gemma did well over three dances I must admit but just outshone by Joe in this round.

As for Alexandra.... the jive wins again.

Well I thought Alex smashed it with Gemma a close second. I did love Debbie's AT but apart from that a real let down. Joe good but not as impressive as I expected.

So who will win. Though I do not like her, I hope it's Alex because I thought she smashed all 3 dances, but has she won the public over. No idea.
