Hi everyone!
As you know from our announcement yesterday, Star has now officially launched on Disney+. And what better way to celebrate this than with a movie night? And the choice of film is yours - We have pre-selected eight films from the long list of movies and series coming to Disney+ with the launch of Star (which you can find here) and will let you vote three times over the next three days until we have found the winning film that we then invite you to watch with us on Friday night at 8pm!🌟
Obviously, we won't be able to all sit in front of the same screen but in order to create the real "movie night" experience, we will create a movie night thread in which we all can chat during the film, discussing the why's and who's, and the where's and what's of your chosen movie with us and the rest of the community.
To explain it a bit more in detail: We have created a bracket that features eight movies to start with. Today you will be able to vote between two movies each and select your favourite four of the bunch in the comment section. Tomorrow we will then continue the voting between everyone's favourite four, and then again the day after tomorrow between your favourite two. The winning movie will then be the star of our movie night on Friday!

Next time round, might be a bit of fun if we did a dress-up for the theme. Then again, perhaps not as if Die Hard won as the sight of many vests probably is a sight not seeing

If you haven't figured it out already, the winner of the Disney+ Star Launch Movie Night is
SO! Join us tonight at 8pm here in the community to watch Signs together (which conveniently is included in the list of films that came to Disney+ with Star). We will all gather in front of our screens and press play to Signs at exactly 8pm and then share our thoughts in a special Movie Night Thread.
Remember - everyone is welcome! The more the merrier! So I hope our avid voters @gmarkj @sheepdog @Anonymous @jonsie @MI5 @pgn @Mi-Amigo @Cleoriff are joining us as well as many others! 
And if you can't hold your excitement until then - There will be a special Star Launch Word Search on the community going up at 10am. I hope you are ready because this is a tough one....

That's such a good idea @sheepdog Although I have to agree that we would have to choose the movies a bit more consciously if we all dress up for the theme 
But definitely one to consider for next time
