Sean Lock has passed away at the age of 58 due to cancer.

Sounds like he kept the diagnosis pretty quite as most people (myself included) didn't know he was ill.
Really enjoyed him on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. Really funny, and even more so when he was winding up Jon Richardson.
This clip (beware language) is particularly funny:
The game was so popular they ran it again:
RIP to a very funny man...

Shocked to hear this. One genuinely funny man. 58 is no age at all.
R.I.P. Sean, you will be missed. ❤️

If you watch the last season of Cats Does Countdown you could tell he'd lost weight, but had no idea this was afoot. Grim times.

Bit late I know but Ch4 are currently doing a tribute to Sean Lock and it's on now. A Stand up session followed by Cats do Countdown. If you miss it, I expect it can be found on Catch Up.

Thanks for the heads up. Will try and find it on catch up as watching the Lesley Sharp series "Before We Die"...
