Hi everyone,

Today is the Day party

Screen Shot 2018-05-18 at 12.12.23.png

After a week of countdown topics, you should now have a pretty good idea of what your ideal wedding looks like winkYou can put together the location, the outfit, the reception details and the hen/stag do and see what it looks like altogether ... or mix and match from others' answers!

For example I'd pick ...

  • Before the big day, a traditionnal hen/stag do: I'd trust @gmarkj or @jonsie with these.
  • @Marjo idea of a wedding in space
  • The gothic dressing code @Cleoriff mentionned
  • A giant tiered victoria sponge by @Anonymous for a classic touch
  • Followed by a honeymoon on Oahu as @Glory1 suggested!

We know some of you will be following today's event, on TV or elsewhere, and it's surely going to be very exciting Confused

So share your thoughts on the Wedding in the comments as the day unfolds, and have a lovely weekend!

What a beautifully stunning dress. Simple, classic and gorgeous.

The children (pageboys and bridemaids ) behaved impeccably

Meghans mother looks so proud ....

It was probably the best Royal Wedding I have watched.....they are usually filled with Pomp and Ceremony. There was plenty of ceremony and much less of the pomp!

The amalgamation of the two cultures was superb. The Gospel choir singing Stand By Me, The 19 year old Cellist and many other highlights.

You could virtually hear the sound of jaws dropping to the floor when the Reverend Minister from Chicago gave his address. (my husband ... the one who wasn't going to watch it ...said he felt they were waiting for everyone to shout Hallelujah)...innocent

A lovely day. Enjoyed by everyone who watched it. Here and in the US...heart

I felt fortunate to wake up at 11.30am, no idea what time they said we doth but I turned the TV on to be greeted by the Simpsons.... it stayed on, surprisingly with no mentions of the small wedding back in their cuzins country.

I was a bit peeved seeing The Chase last night where the contestants had been handpicked.... Harry, Megan, and t'other 2....only surprising they lost!
