I never implied otherwise....thats why I was being a little sarky about it being 'swish'.

Mind you having said all that ....and knowing a lot of places are being taken over by hotel chains, it still retains a lot of charm with beautiful grounds...(and is good value for money)

slight_frown @Beenherebefore I don't know what a 'Best Western' is ... I suppose if I were to be a good girl I'd do what @Bambino tells me ie Google is my Friend ... but ... atm I can't be arsd ... I just imagined from Cleo's pic & considering the nature of the occassion that it was somewhere very good = swish

I live in Skipton, North Yorkshire ... & ... there is a 'vintage inn' just nicely that bit out of town which is very good eg food cooked freshly to order, nice layout inside, spanking loo's, good customer service, pleasant atmosphere, reasonably priced 3 course menu, menu changed seasonally, big car park, £5 taxi fare from my home slight_smile

Sometimes, just sometimes ... Mystery Man Sir Beenherebefore ... Hug ... you scare me ... but ... I suppose I am a bit of a scaredy cat ... Cat Sad

Hi Jane... Best Western is a hotel chain https://www.bestwestern.co.uk/company/about-us

As are Premier Inns and Travelodge etc etc......though some are a lot better than others obviously.
