Just heard the sad news that a close friend, Sabine Schmitz, has died.

She was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and has battled it since.

RIP Sabine, "The Queen of the Nurburgring" you will be missed immensely

So devastated to hear about Sabine, I love motor racing and I loved watching her, her energy and enthusiasm was captivating. what an amazing lady!! sending all our love and prayers to her family. Clare xx

She was amazing @Clare45 and a huge inspiration to many, especially young girls starting out in motor racing.

I can't believe we won't see her again at Women in motorsport events and at Nurbugring.
