Hi - I and a considerable number of other BT Broadband customers appear to be having serious problems accessing Google services using wifi through BT Home Hubs. If any users of O2 products are experiencing similar problems and connect to BT network by wifi please do get along to the BT Community forum and let them know briefly the sort of problems you are encountering. You could have a look at http://bit.ly/1i57xnz for starters.
Thanks
Gerry

Now there is a great topic for discussion @Cleoriff I have for some time now been of the view that technology rarely fails us. It is people who fail us with their "couldn't care less" attitudes, and "I'm alright Jack" philosophy. Yes there will be technical problems but service providers have got to get their snouts out of the balance sheets and start providing good service at reasonable cost.
But , for the next 24 hours I declare this to be one of my "no moaning" days. If I can't say something positive I won't say anything - (well, I will try...........).

@Anonymous I must admit to being 'dragged kicking and screaming' into the world of every day technology.
Medical technology gave me no problems at all. I could rig you up to a ventilator, and blood gas monitor
whilst reading your ECG with a defibrillator charged at the ready should you need it.
However give me a 'smartphone' and I look at it with great fear....
I am pretty ok on a PC/laptop...(if it involves shopping or buying cheap flights..I am unbeatable)
I now have to go away and learn how to use my new Tablet....
Hence the joy of a place like this
I now wave my 'Get Back On Topic banner

@Anonymous wrote:@Cleoriff You certainly give no impression of being anything but comfortable with technology. As reagrds your parting shot - can one be Off-topic in an Off-topic thread?
Have a great day and remember "We are never too old to learn something stupid".
@Anonymous I love your witticisms (and your new signature)...
I only made the comment about going off topic as the Topic heading relates to Problems accessing Google
Play store....
(Which actually in my humble opinion is a technical question and may have been better placed in the
Android section...or Other Products)
Maybe @adamtemp64 or @Toby could advise better on this? (or of course any other senior posters who
may read the post?

Yes BoB it does...and as it was Gerry's post that seems fine.
However, still my question about where this SHOULD have been posted originally remains?
It is a technical question therefore warrants going into the technical help section?
(Purely to help other users)

Oops! I didn't mean to start up the debate again. I chose Off Topic because it was not really about O2 products or services.
