Problem with emails from Forum

Morning,

I just wanted to ask others if they have experienced problems receiving email notifications from this forum?

(I did think of posting this in the BT Yahoo mail thread, but personally I am not convinced my problem IS

anything to do with that)

My emails come in via BTinternet and BT yahoo mail.

I subscribe on this forum, to receiving notifications when someone replies to a topic I am following.

Yesterday I made a number of posts  and from 16.47pm I received NOTHING from this forum.

I say nothing...but I did get PM's immediately...which was confusing to say the least

Emails from other people and forums continued to arrive into my inbox on time. (hence my rationale

that it is an O2 forum problem and nothing to do with my server or internet provider)

This morning? 45 emails into my inbox...ALL from O2 forum and ALL out of sequence

So this is annoying. I am not constantly on the forum.I occasionally log on...however if someone replies

to a thread I am following, once I get the email, I log on to reply if needed.

So, a bit of a straw poll really ...to ask if anyone.else is experiencing this problem?

NB. I know of one member who experienced this yesterday. (though for me this has happened before)

My they do seem much more on par with being pushed to me now ,and are a bit less delayed.

Just add guys, The re-design would not have affected this. Keep letting me know if you see are seeing normal behaviour and I'll continue to investigate. Had anyone changed their notification settings recently?

I unsubscribed and re subscribed to the various boards as a last ditch just in case scenario.

I did the same and had no problems for the last couple of weeks.

@Toby  I have left it till now as this is usually the time I see the pattern for the day.

I am so pleased to say that it all continues to work perfectly. It really is such a pleasant surprise.

If you think thats a bit OTT....I can only say for me, using my laptop only, it has made it really manageable

accessing the forum.

The emails do remind me of all the topics I have have posted on.

I can only hope this is a sign of good things to come.:smileyhappy:

EDIT: I have changed no notification settings

4.30pm (2nd edit) And now all change....the emails have stopped coming in now

Shortlived, so it appears Nick. Since 4.30 I have had nothing....saw your reply when browsing (which I don't always have the time to do...

Ahh well...it was nice for half a day
