Finally the self tying laces featured in Back to the Future part 2 are becoming a reality. I for one have been waiting for these since I first saw the movie. Surprisingly hover boards beat the self lacing shoes to the shops.

Seems like a nifty idea, but it will come down to price and real life useability. I for one won't be running out to buy a set, not unless they are reasonable priced. But hey, you guys could get a few sets for try the tech hahahaha

@Martin-O2 Hover boards as in the movie are still a long way off ( except in train transport maglev)

@adamtemp64 Yes unfortunately the only version that floats on regular surfaces requires liquid nitrogen to work. Not the easiest stuff to work with.

@viridis I know there a bit chunky for my liking Sure they will get smaller in time though.
