Hi all.

Encouraged by 2 fab community members to create this new topic. Hope you like.
Thought this could be a nice space to share some of the poems we have written and inspire each other with our creativity. Poems are a way for me to voice whats going on in my head especially when my anxiety has left me feeling somewhat foggy headed.

I wish I were a glow worm
A glow worm’s never glum
‘Cos how can you be grumpy
When the sun shines out your bum..

Little butterflies and bees
They live among the grasses.
They often have their tea on leaves,
And slide down on their hands and knees.

Hello everyone 

So sorry for not being around lately.  Been a crazy few weeks doing management training and sorting out stuff at work not to mention having my 1st stock audit within a few weeks of me starting my role as trainee manager.

Been a fair few ups and downs both on a business level but also on a personal level.

I will try and be around more as things start to settle down at work but unfortunately this time of the year my mental health takes a nose dive so I may just not be up to posting any poems as things tend to be rather dark for me mentally. 

Sending you all hugs as thanks for your concern about me for not being around.

The sky is blue

The sun shines bright

Clouds are cotton wool.

Butterflies drift

With a flit of the wing

Dancing on the breeze.

Come join me

On the green green grass 

As late summer warms the air.

Flowers bloom

And nod their heads

Their petals vibrant colours. 

The soft meow 

Of a wandering cat

As it pads slowly by.

I give my thanks

To a wonderful world

Of colour,

Magic and beauty. 

Treasure these things 

Our gift from the world 

There for us to share.
