Hello all. This is an extention to the thread started by APM about films Here
Each saturday were going to select a few films that are available for everyone on freeview channels. If this takes off we could get a friday cub going as well
Each of us gets to vote on what movie you think we should all watch
After the voting is complete well release the results friday night or saturday midday.
We can then all sit and watch the movie and discuss how good or bad it is
All movies will be accompanied with a link to the Youtube trailer, An IMDB rating and link and a short blurb.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

Haha, I can imagine that. I hadn't seen it in 10-15 years though, so it was good to see it again.
Actually, it was quite similar with seeing a preview of total recall. Wasn't a good movie back then and it's probably not a good movie now, but I'm so looking forward to seeing it.
Don't you guys have that?

Yes I like the classics too Penny. The latest blockbusters tend to lose me with the complicated plots and sub-plots, constant flashback, flash forwards and loud music. Guess I'm just getting old

I agree I much prefer classics most of the film today just don't cut it for me well apart from the bond films. I also bought con air aswell it's another old film I like going back watching

Not at all. One of the films I've got here (can't even remember which one) is completely backwards. So many critics love it, just because of that. I just don't get it
